Mr. Lopez is a registered patent attorney who performs patent prosecution and provides strategic Intellectual Property counseling involving complex issues regarding patents (prosecution and licensing), patent infringement and validity, copyrights, trade secrets, trademarks, and intellectual property litigation.

Mr. Lopez drafts and negotiates technology related licenses and agreements including distribution, development, technology transfers, R&D, and Internet related agreements, involving complex technology and legal issues.  Mr. Lopez also provides Intellectual Property due diligence support in complex business transactions including mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Klein, O’Neill & Singh, Mr. Lopez was a patent attorney with  Townsend and Townsend and Crew LLP, Skjerven, Morrill, Macpherson LLP, in-house patent counsel for Edwards Lifesciences, Inc. and Snell & Wilmer LLP.
